The management of the ENS would like to introduce a new price structure for the canteen. The basic principle is to create a new rate for scholarship holders, at €1 for all meals. This measure would be offset by a general price increase for other user categories. For example, for a 5-point meal (starter-main course-dessert), the increase would be €1.50 on average, but €1.90 for normaliens and €1.10 for mastériens and normaliens étudiants. At this date, and in the absence of clear figures from the administration, it is possible that the increase in prices will be higher than what would be necessary simply to compensate for the introduction of €1 meals for scholarship holders.
