Following the resignation of Esteban Geoffray, three positions of the DG are up for re-election. The two leading candidates will be elected for a full one-year term, until 10/31/2025. The next candidate will be elected for a partial term of 5 months, until 03/31/2024. This is a single-round, multi-mandate ballot, by assent to all candidacies. Following the resignations of Diane Amberny-Chevalier and Thomas Rique, the four positions on the Student-led Housing Committee (DG) will be renewed in these elections. The two leading candidates will be elected for a full one-year term, until 31/03/2025. The next two candidates will be elected for a partial term of 7 months, until 31/10/2024. This is a single-round, multi-mandate ballot, by assent to all the candidates. The order of candidates below corresponds to the order in which applications were received.

The management of the ENS would like to introduce a new price structure for the canteen. The basic principle is to create a new rate for scholarship holders, at €1 for all meals. This measure would be offset by a general price increase for other user categories. For example, for a 5-point meal (starter-main course-dessert), the increase would be €1.50 on average, but €1.90 for normaliens and €1.10 for mastériens and normaliens étudiants. Details of the proposed reform are available at: https://cloud.eleves.ens.fr/index.php/s/g4Ly6STrypdywE5. At this date, and in the absence of clear figures from the administration, it is possible that the increase in prices will be higher than what would be necessary simply to compensate for the introduction of €1 meals for scholarship holders.

One seat is at stake. It is a multi-member, one-round ballot with assent to all the candidates. In the event of a tie between the first candidates, a second round will be organised between the latter.

Ce référendum concerne les questions de maintien du joker CST et de la mise en place d'un 3ème joker aux étudiant·e·s et aux élèves de la sélection internationale. Pour plus d'info sur ces questions, des documents explicatifs ont été envoyés par mail.

This vote is about the deletion of the CST Joker and the creation of a third joker for the normaliens étudiants (here called the 3rd student joker).
